Better Be SLYTHERIN!

Hey, Pottermore is open to the public. You probably already know this, though. :D

My username (unfortunately) is KnightMoon6144. I almost picked GlowMoon, but the numbers after it were weird. And I like the word Knight. *shrug*

My wand is, wonderfully, 12 1/2 inches, Spruce, Phoenix Feather core, and surprisingly swishy.

and my house… I am so happy. Be prepared for a long ramble.

I was really expecting Hufflepuff. I’ve taken countless amounts of Quizzes, from obvious to amazingly unclear, and had nine times out of ten gotten Hufflepuff. I’ve gotten Slytherin Twice, Ravenclaw once, and have never gotten Gryffindor. I really thought that said me, and I’ve always been pretty proud of being a Puff. I knew I wasn’t a Gryffindor as I’m a big chicken, and I’m too “whatever” to be a Ravenclaw.

In the last few years I’ve been calling my self a Slytherpuff, because I’m really fair, pretty loyal, and kind, while I’m also sneaky and willing to walk a gray path to get what I want. I’m also a survivalist. While at the same time I’m not very ambitious, and I’ll be the very last person in the world that you’ll call hardworking.

So, I thought I would get Hufflepuff. Everyone and myself thought so. My favorite color is even Yellow. But I know now that if I had gotten into that house I would be okay with it, but a little disappointed too.

You are now reading something written by a Slytherin! I didn’t even get a Hatstall with it. :D And in all honesty I thought most of my answers went into the “Hufflepuff/Ravenclaw” area. Which I was a little worried about, as I really didn’t want Ravenclaw.

Here are my questions and answers! :D

The first was “What would most like to be known(remembered?) as?” I almost picked “The Good”, but I picked “The Wise” instead. I want to be known as someone who had been thereand could teachand things. I thought that would probably say Ravenclaw.

This is where it gets a little cloudy on the order of the questions and what they were.

There was a question about “You walk into a clearing in the woods, what would you be most curious to examine first?” I picked a tree with silver leaves and golden apples. I almost picked a couple of talking toadstools, but I’ve always been short on money and I know I would make a beeline for those golden apples. Plus it would catch my eye and be pretty. I think that was a Slytherin answer.

I got one that said there was a troll in the headmaster’s office and I had a chance to save three things in a certain order. There was student records for over 1,000 years, a book written by Merlin, and a cure for dragon pox. I picked the records, then the cure, then the book. I thought the answer was pretty Hufflepuff, but now I’m not so sure. It wouldn’t be Ravenclaw, at least.

There were questions of “Moon or Stars” and “Heads or Tails.” I picked Moon and Tails. Mostly cause I like those better. Werewolves, c’mon! ;)

Then there was “What subject do you most look forward to learning?” (or something like that) While I almost picked “Everything I can” I picked Apparation (is that spelled right?). They didn’t have Potions listed and I don’t care about learning Transfiguration or Charms all that much. I have no idea what house that answer would be given.

Oh! and then one, that I almost forgot, was “what do you fear the most?” I picked “Isolation” because, while I like my alone time, I wouldn’t want to be so alone where I couldn’t seek someone out if I wanted.

So! I’m a happy, happy, happy Slytherin! Green and Silver all the way!

Pottermore is lovely, but my computer is so slow that it makes making potions SO HARD. Sigh.

Okay, well, I just wanted to tell about my sorting and my wand, which I absolutely love. Apparently length means I have a big personality, as I answered “Average Height” on the wand quiz. :D

WOO! Friend me if ya wanna. Duel me if you dare! (I suck as dueling too… Lost to a Hufflepuff and a Gryffindor. My house will be so disappointed. ;P)

Voldemort rose to power in 1997. He destroyed all records of muggle borns. Therefore, all muggle borns that would have been younger than 11 at the time of his takeover would never have gotten their letters because he’s an evil wizard and destroyed our records. The Ministry is still in the process of finding all muggle borns.
